Romando moved to Scottsdale in 2017, before he ever sold a home here, and he learned this valley the way most of his clients do now: as someone new to it, figuring out where to live, what the summers actually feel like, and which neighborhoods were worth the drive.

That's the perspective he brings to every out-of-state buyer he works with.

In 2020, Romando got licensed and started helping people navigate the same move he'd made a few years earlier. Six years later, he's ranked in the top 10% of agents across the Scottsdale and Phoenix MLS for 2024 and 2025, working out of AZ Dream Homes.

His why is simple. He knows what it's like to relocate somewhere sight unseen and try to make a smart, informed decision from a distance. Most of his clients are doing exactly that: luxury buyers relocating to Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix Valley from California, the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and beyond. Before real estate, Romando spent over two decades as a construction manager for national and global brands, including Intel. He's a graduate of Virginia Military Institute, where he earned a civil engineering degree and played on a Division 1 baseball scholarship. That background is where his standard for quality comes from. He understands what good craftsmanship actually looks like on a job site, and he holds his clients' homes to the same standard.

Romando is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and lived in Washington, DC, before moving to Scottsdale in 2017. He still gets back to the DMV regularly to visit his father and younger brother.

He's married to Tina Harrison, also a REALTOR®, and the two work as a team. Tina handles staging, and Romando flies the drone and shoots the listing video himself for every home they represent, then puts it up on their YouTube channel. That channel has become one of the reasons their listings get the exposure they do, and it's part of what sets the two of them apart from other agents in the Valley.
